Borno State Govt Reacts To IDPs Protest (See Photos)

Borno State Deputy Gov HE Hon Usman Durkwa intervene the crisis between the Internally Displaced Persons ( IDPs ) & the Kitchen committee of the IDPs of Marte in ATC camp.
The IDPs went to the streets to protest for the dissolution of the Kitchen committee for not giving them adequate meal as directed by the State Govt.
HE Hon Usman Mamman Durkwa directed the Chairman of SEMA & Caretaker Chairman of Marte to immediately distribute food items to the IDPs of Marte per household, so that it will prevent suspiciousness among them, because the central cooking is mostly the crisis of all IDPs camps.
Hon Usman Mamman Durkwa also directed the Caretaker Chairman of Marte LG to pay the Kitchen committee their July and August allowances, and warn that anyone who sell the food given to him will not be giving another until one (1) month after, as the food distribution is monthly.
