Former advisor to the Barcelona board, Ariedo Braida, has urged the Catalan side to make a move for Inter forward Lautaro Martinez.

The Argentine still has three years left on his deal at Inter but has a release clause of 111 million euros.

“Barcelona have paid higher release clauses than Lautaro’s and he’s a player that they like,” Braida said on TMW Radio.

“I think he’s got the right profile for [Barcelona] and they could sign him.”

Like many other aspects of the transfer market, Lautaro’s situation may be impacted by the coronavirus crisis.

“Coronavirus could change things,” Braida said.

“Inter could decide to keep him and renew his contract.”
