Changing your SIM card after marriage is mandatory – Nigerian man says

A Nigerian man, Akinyemi Olanrewaju, has said that couples must change their SIM card after marriage.

“Changing your SIM card after marriage is mandatory,” he wrote on Sunday.

The post has generated varying reactions, with most people disagreeing with him. 

“Pointless because you don’t need someone’s number to actively reach them these days. There’s social media plus why are you getting married to someone you don’t trust enough to create firm boundaries with their previous partners ? and I hope it’s not limited to women alone lol,” one Adesewa wrote.
