Nigerian media company, Channels TV has debunked claims stating some of its reporters were arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services on Thursday, August 26.

According to the media house, the entire anchors of its flagship programme, Sunrise Daily, were invited for a meeting by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) in Abuja and they have since returned from that meeting.

News made rounds on social media yesterday afternoon that the presenters were arrested by the DSS for an interview they granted to Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom.
