Chaos at wedding as caterer fails to show, leaving guests hungry

A wedding ceremony in Benin City, Edo State, that was meant to be a day of joy and celebration ended in anger and disappointment after the caterer failed to show up, leaving hundreds of guests without food.

In a video circulating on social media, frustration was evident among guests at the elaborate event, which reportedly hosted about a thousand people.

By past 6 p.m., the caterer was still nowhere to be found, creating an embarrassing situation for the couple’s families.

The bride’s mother, overwhelmed by the turn of events, broke down in tears as friends surrounded her, offering comfort and assuring her that the failure was not her fault.

The clip captured voices consoling her, while one person was heard demanding the caterer’s name so she could be exposed online as a warning to others.
