Chelsea and Manchester City are prepared to go toe to toe for the signature of Borussia Dortmund Nigerian descent defender Nnamdi Collins at the end of the season.

The 16-year-old defender is one of the best defenders in his age ranking and he has attracted the interest of the Premier League clubs with his performance for the Borussia Dortmund B team.

Collins is a versatile defender and he has showed that with his scoring abilities despite playing from the centre back position.

The Nigerian descent has  scored four goals in his first eleven games of the season while producing an assist for Borussia Dortmund in the current campaign.

Manchester City is ready to give Chelsea good run for their money as they aim compete with the Stamford Bridge outfit for the signature of the Borussia Dortmund defender when the transfer window opens at the end of the current season.
