Chelsea legend John Terry has reacted on David Luiz’s controversial red card in Arsenal 2-1 away defeat to Wolves in the Premier League encounter on Tuesday night.
The Gunners appeared to be in cruise control after Nicolas Pepe fired them in front with a brilliant solo effort in the 32nd minute of the clash.
However, Luiz was sent off in first-half stoppage-time for bringing down new Wolves striker Willian Jose before Ruben Neves made no mistake converted the resulting penalty to erase Nicolas Pepe’s opener at Molineux.
Luiz’s former Chelsea team-mate, Terry, took to Instagram in the wake of Arsenal’s loss and claimed the decision to award Wolves their penalty was correct.
Luiz will miss Arsenal next three games against Aston Villa, Leeds United and Manchester City after he was sent off for the third time in Gunners colours.
