Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is set to unleash another youngster to the senior team having promoted host of young boys to the Blues’ senior team.
Lampard could give academy star Conor Gallagher a chance to showcase his talent with the first team at the Stamford Bridge.
Gallagher, 20, is yet to make his debut for Chelsea but made the bench in the Blues win over Arsenal in the last season’s Europa League final but was not capped by Maurizio Sarri.
Gallagher was sent on loan at the start of the season to Charlton Athletic, he impressed so greatly with the Addicks where he scored six times before transferring to fellow Championship club Swansea City in January.
His former manager at Charlton Alan Curbishley is convinced that the midfielder has what it takes to be a Chelsea player in the future.
Gallagher could be the next youngster to be unleashed at Chelsea following the likes of Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham, Recee James and Billy Gilmour.
