Chelsea new signing Hakim Ziyech sustains an injury on his debut during the Blues pre-season friendly game against Brighton at the Amex Stadium.

According to the report in the Daily Express says Ziyech was forced off the field with an injury.

Manager Frank Lampard gave Chelsea fans a glimpse of the new look of the team with super fast attackers, the former Ajax man started alongside fellow new boy Timo Werner.

Ziyech’s afternoon was cut short in the second half though when he appeared to pick up an ankle knock.

The Moroccan attacker went down to the ground before receiving treatment from Chelsea’s medical staff, it was decided that he should be substituted.

Timo Werner scored an early goal and the height of it all was that Willy Caballero saved a spot-kick from Neal Maupay, Chelsea will start the new Premier League campaign with a trip to AMEX Stadium to face the Seagulls on September 14.
