Chelsea is prepared to challenge Barcelona for Brazilian midfielder Reinier Jesus, according to the report in English media.

The Stamford Bridge outfit is ready to rival Barcelona target  Reinier who is rated £70m by Flamengo, if they are successful in getting their transfer ban lifted, according to report in The Daily Express.Barcelona has been monitoring the progress of the youngster but Chelsea is hoping to hijack the deal, the Blues have appealed for their transfer ban and they are hoping it would be lifted in January transfer window.A hearing at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) is scheduled for some time in November.
