Chelsea star Fikayo Tomori reportedly rejected a late offer for a loan move to West Ham in the last day of the summer transfer.
West Ham was prepared to sign Tomori on loan from the Stamford Bridge outfit and would also have forked out £50,000 to the Blues every time they didn’t play him, according to report on talkSport.
I’m staying, I don’t want to go”, so that was that, and Chelsea fans will probably be glad the young England international ended up staying put, claims Tomori.
Tomori was initially considered as a great prospect for Chelsea upon his return from Derby County on loan but he has dropped down the pecking order under manager Frank Lampard, the likes of Thiago Silva, Kourt Zouma are considered as the favourite while Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen are not doing much to impress the manager.
West Ham would be a bit disappointed with their offer being turned down and they have to wait till transfer window to make a reinforcement.
