Chilling video shows moment mum was arrested with blood still on her hands after allegedly slitting son’s throat

Chilling footage shows the mom accused of slitting her 11-year-old son’s throat after a trip to Disneyland being arrested with blood splattered on her hands. 

Saritha Ramaraju, 48, appeared distant, as she calmly walks towards police officers with their guns drawn on the deck of a California motel while holding a phone to her ear, police bodycam footage obtained by Law & Crime shows. 

The dazed mom steps towards the cops silently and gives herself up without a fight. 

“She has blood on her hands,” one of the arresting officers says as they place her in handcuffs, according to the clip. 
 

Ramaraju allegedly murdered her 11-year-old son, Yatin Ramaraju, after their three-day trip to Disneyland last week and then popped pills in an apparent effort to take her own life, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. 

Yatin was found on the bed at the Santa Ana La Quinta Inn & Suites surrounded by Disney souvenirs from their trip after she called 911 and confessed to the killing on March 19, prosecutors said. 

The boy appeared to have been dead for several hours. 

She told cops over the phone that she had already ingested an unspecified number of pills, officials said, which could explain her zombie-like appearance in the bodycam footage. 
 

Ramaraju was charged with one count of murder and one count of personally using a deadly weapon. 

She is scheduled to appear in court in Orange County on April 17.
