Super Eagles star Samuel Chukwueze retains shirt number as Villarreal announce squad for 2020-21 season.

The 21-year-old Nigeria ace continuing his impressive form for the Yellow Submarines after scoring in the 2-1 friendly tie loss against Valencia.

Chukwueze has been with Villarreal since 2017, first as a youth player before making his senior debut in 2018.The La Liga outfit has taken to the club verified social media handle to reveal the squad number for the upcoming season.

Chukwueze who has retain his number eleven jersey despite the arrival of Dani Parejo, Takefusa Kubo, and Francis Coquelin.

Villarreal will kick off their La Liga campaign against Kelechi Nwakali’s Huesca at Estadio de la Cerámica on 13 September.
