Samuel Chukwueze is in buoyant mood following Villarreal’s victory against Manchester United in the final of the Europa League, reports Completesports.com.

The Yellow Submarine claimed the title for the first time after a nervy 11-10 penalty shootout win against the Red Devils on Wednesday night.

The game ended in a 1-1 draw after 120 minutes of energy sapping football which saw Edison Cavani cancelled out Gerard Moreno’s first half strike.

Chukwueze missed the game as result of the injury he picked up in the semi-final clash against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

The 22-year-old took to the social media to celebrate his first title at club level.

“Only God can do this ,champions baby  ,” he wrote on his Twitter handle.

The winger scored one goal and recorded four assists in 11 appearances for Villarreal in the competition.
