An innocent gesture to spoil Eric Blessing on her birthday has landed a Nigerian youth corps member in a den of public scrutiny.

Agberia Precious Takufia, a Nigerian youth corps member serving in Edo State took his lady out on a date to munch snacks but he didn’t know that his unromantic approach would spell doom and spark up public outrage.

Sharing a photo of the event, he wrote:

Well, his countenance and how he held on tightly to Lolo while forcing the snack on her didn’t go down well with others and they didn’t fail to register their displeasure.
