Court dismisses Pres. Buhari’s defamation suit against AIT

Justice John Tsoho of a Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed the defamation suit filed by President Buhari against DAAR Communications, owner of the African Independent Television AIT.

President Buhari filed the lawsuit against the TV station after it aired a “hate” document against him during the buildup of the 2015 presidential election. Justice Tsoho dismissed the case at its resumed hearing today.
