Arsenal legend, Paul Merson, has told Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo to leave the Red Devils this summer for Paris Saint-Germain.

Merson wants Ronaldo to join his eternal rival Lionel Messi at PSG.

According to him, Manchester United’s new chapter under Erik ten Hag won’t begin until Ronaldo makes his exit from Old Trafford.

“Ronaldo should have gone to Paris Saint-Germain to form a dream team with Lionel Messi this summer – because Erik ten Hag’s revolution can’t start until Cristiano Ronaldo has left Manchester United, in my opinion,” Merson wrote in his column for Daily Star.

He added, “And Ronaldo is not winning the title at Old Trafford, so why stay anyway? He does not have many years left to win the big prizes. Imagine him at PSG with Messi. They have spent years being rivals. It would be fun to watch them end their careers as team-mates.”
