David Beckham has trolled Zlatan Ibrahimovic after the Swede lost his World Cup bet with England’s former captain.
The two superstars of world football had a wager over England and Sweden’s World Cup quarter-final on Saturday — and now Ibrahimovic is heading to Wembley.
Ibrahimovic, the 36-year-old LA Galaxy striker, is no longer part of the international set-up.
But he was still interested in setting up a bet with Beckham on social media.
He wrote: –
“Yo @davidbeckham if @England wins I buy you dinner where ever you want in the world, but if Sweden wins you buy me what ever I want from @IKEASverige ok?”
Beckham agreed to the deal but put his own wager in.
He wrote:-
“If @swemnt win I will personally take you to @ikeasverige and buy you what ever you need for the new mansion in LA @lagalaxy, but when @england win I want you to come watch an @england game at Wembley wearing an England shirt and enjoy fish & chips at half time.”
After Harry Maguire and Dele Alli scored the goals that beat Sweden, both Beckham and Wembley Stadium were quick to react.
Beckham photo-shopped Ibrahimovic’s head onto an England top and added: “Looks like someone’s coming to Wembley again.”
They wrote: “Look forward to seeing you, @Ibra_official.”
The two men played together for one season at Paris Saint-Germain before Beckham retired in 2013.
