The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has called for the emancipation of Africans from the hold of foreigners.

While speaking in a recent interview with Dele Momodu, Kanu said Nigeria cannot function as a viable state because of its history.

He stressed that before the name Nigeria, those who make up the country Nigeria existed and were doing well. Reacting, a former Nigerian minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode wrote:

“I watched @MaziNnamdiKanu’s interview with @DeleMomodu this evening & I was inspired & encouraged. Nnamdi spoke with such eloquence, passion, courage &strength. He is brilliant &irrepressible. He cannot be underestimated or ignored. Every African should listen to that interview.”

Nnamdi Kanu also spoke about the Biafran war, and called for the dismantling of Nigeria.
