Diamond Platnumz’s Ex, Zari, speaks on his marriage to Zuchu

The internet is buzzing after Diamond Platnumz’s ex-girlfriend shared her unfiltered reaction to news that the Tanzanian superstar may have finally settled down with longtime partner Zuchu.

In a now-viral clip, the ex didn’t hold back her thoughts—wishing the couple well, but also subtly throwing jabs at Diamond, real name Naseeb Abdul Juma.

“If it’s true, I wish them luck. Finally going to settle down, alhamdulillah. Didn’t the whole world pray for this?” she said, adding that she’s genuinely happy for Zuchu, who she described as “strong and resilient.”

“She deserves Girlfriend of the Year. I say it right? She’s strong, she’s resilient. We couldn’t do it. Natasha came there, she failed. Look at Zuchu, she’s standing. So I’m so proud of her,” she added, clearly drawing a contrast between herself and Zuchu’s ability to endure the ups and downs of dating Diamond.

But it didn’t end there. The ex sent a direct message to Diamond himself:
“I hope Naseeb treats her better now because she’s a wife. Let him change. That girl is putting up with a lot of shit from Naseeb. So I feel so happy for her.”

Then came the motherly perspective that had fans talking:
“Me, I’m a mother. I wouldn’t want to see my daughter go through that. Naseeb, you wouldn’t want to see that happening to Lateefah. So please, change.”
