Daughter of Nigerian billionaire, Femi Otedola, Florence Otedola popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has admitted she became a fan of Manchester United because of former Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo.

On 31st January 2020, Ighalo joined United on loan from Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua.

The move made Ighalo the first Nigerian player and only the seventh Africa to sign for United.

And during his loan spell at United, Ighalo managed five goals, all coming in the Europa League and FA Cup.

And celebrating Ighalo on his 31st birthday on Wednesday DJ Cuppy, a former Arsenal fan, wrote on her verified Twitter handle:”Help me wish my bro @IghaloJude a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! … I joined #ManchesterUnited because of HIM!”

Ighalo currently plays for Saudi Arabia club Al Shabab where he scored nine goals in 13 league appearances.
