The youngster didn’t get his award on the award night last year due to some reasons by the organisers that voting for ‘Rookie of the Year’ can continue even after the award show.

The award organisers, HipTv have since declared, Mayorkun the winner of the, ‘Rookie of the Year’ award beating his lablemate, Dremo, chocolate city’s Dice Ailes, Terry Apala and Mz Kiss .

The ‘Eleko’ singer was at their head office days ago to finally receive the award which he showed off on social media..
