Do not divorce your wife who has children for you. If she is no longer interested, marry another wife – Nigerian man advises men

An Ebonyi prince, Nelson Chikaodili Igboke, has said that the worst decision any married man will ever make in his life is to divorce his wife who has children for him.

The father of four, who stated this in a Facebook post on Monday, August 26, advised men to embrace polygamy by marrying new wives if they no longer love their first wives. 

According to him, polygamy still remains the best form of marriage. 

“As a man, once your wife have a child or children for you and you divorce her to marry another woman for whatever reason, just think yourself a man who has two wives and nothing more. Even if the woman in question marries another man, she still is your wife and nothing changes that,” he wrote.

One can argue that the woman is no longer your wife if the marriage is dissolved in the competent court of law of the land. While we recognizes that fact, the law of the land can never stop nature from taking it’s cause in all the following possibilities.

1. If the man eventually decides to see the mother of her children at any given time especially where the children is involved. He does that while the said law gets crippled.

2. If the woman still loves his first husband, she gets to see him using the children as a yardstick especially as no law of any country forbids the woman from seeing her children and anything can happen during the process.

3. The children can at any given time wade in and bring their mother home even if the second husband objects to that fact. The decision of the woman takes precedence in this case.

4. In a situation where the woman loves the second husband and does not want to leave him for whatever reason, she should be ready to practice a polyandry marriage if the scenario becomes one that the first husband or the children gets interested in having their mother around them.

5. Where all the above scenarios doesn’t come into play but both parties (the woman and her presumed former husband) still have affections for each other, the channel of communication must eventually be opened and the two separate entities come to bond again.

6. Even if both parties decides to move on without ever having anything to do with each other, the bond can never be broken once children are involved and there’s nothing any of them can do about it.

The worst decision any married man will ever make in his life is to divorce his wife who has children for him. I repeat!!!! Do not divorce your wife for whatever reason.

If she is no longer needed by you, let her be your wife but marry another wife. It’s not a crime. Polygamy still remains the best form of marriage. Do not allow whatever anyone will say make you take decisions you will regret later.
