Doris Ogala vows to sue Pastor Chris Okafor for marrying another lady after promising her marriage

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has disclosed plans to take legal action against Pastor Chris Okafor, accusing him of reneging on an alleged promise to marry her and proceeding to wed another woman.

Ogala made the revelation during a live interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, where she opened up about her past relationship with the pastor and the circumstances that led to their fallout.

She stated that her decision to seek legal redress was based on what she described as a firm commitment to marriage, which she claims was later broken.

During the interview, the actress also addressed questions about her conduct while she was still married to her former husband. She admitted that she engaged in a phone-based romantic relationship with Pastor Okafor during that period, describing it as a mistake she regrets. However, she maintained that there was no physical involvement between them at the time.

Ogala further claimed to be in possession of evidence, including chat records, screen recordings and a video allegedly showing relevant dates and phone details, to support her assertions.

Daddy Freeze cautioned her against releasing such materials publicly, warning that doing so could lead to legal consequences related to privacy laws.

Despite the warning, the actress insisted she was prepared to pursue the matter legally, noting that her lawyer had already been authorised to proceed.

She maintained that Pastor Okafor’s marriage to another woman, after allegedly making commitments to her, constituted sufficient grounds for legal action and said she was ready to present her evidence in court.

As of the time of this report, Pastor Chris Okafor has not issued any public response to the allegations.

“I am suing Chris because he promised me marriage and that’s a crime in the law; he left me for another woman. I have proof, I have evidence. He’ll hear from my lawyer very soon.

Chris knew I was married, though I used to be his girlfriend.
