Rex Suru is singer and songwriter with a passion for Afro roots Reggae, which is a combination of West African Afro beat and Jamaican Reggae. He has been in the music business since the early 1990s, but in recent years he have started to take things to a whole new level. Last year he wrote and produced over 20 songs. Many of these new songs will be performed live with my band, Cherubim Vibes, in the Bay Area for the very first time later this year. He is bringing my band based in Lagos, Nigeria for our “Give a Little Love Bay Area Tour.” It starts Friday, July 28 at Slim’s in San Francisco. 

Rex Surur will also be performing at George’s (San Rafael) August 4, and Ashkenaz (Berkeley) August 11. Several more shows will be announced soon so check the website and Facebook frequently. He hope to see you at one of our shows!
