The drivers in large number said the action became necessary after one of their members was heavily wounded by a revenue officer.

There was tension as drivers drivers plying Benin-Auchi Road, Uhunmwode local government area of Edo State, early this morning, blocked the expressway, by the bridge.

They are protesting what they described as intimidation.
