Reacting on Twitter, Bwala said the show of shame must be stopped.

Daniel Bwala, an aide to Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2023 election has condemned the action of the Department of State Services after its operatives assaulted an official of the Nigeria Prisons.

Reacting on Twitter, Bwala said the show of shame must be stopped.

He added that officers involved in the act must be brought to book.

He wrote:

“This happened today in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. 

Anybody who wears the uniform symbolizes the authority of the republic and works in the name of the president who is the head of the republic.

Those who assault law enforcement are liable to prosecution by our law; alas, this was done to him by his comrades in the law enforcement platform allegedly while he was carrying out A LAWFUL ORDER.

What a sad day.”
