Charles Oputa, the famous Nigerian singer and activist, who is known by his stage name, Charly Boy, has made a new revelation.

He revealed plan to join the ongoing protest that followed the outcome of the February 25 presidential elections.

DAILY POST reports that supporters of the Labour Party and the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, have continued to stage protests in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, seeking the cancelation of the election that produced Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the president-elect.

The supporters, who are known as Obidients, had alleged that the results of the election was manipulated to favour the ruling party.

In a tweet on Wednesday, Charly Boy, a socio-political activist, lauded the protesters, saying he would soon join the protest to take it to another level.

He wrote, “I am indeed happy with the Obidient Youths and the courageous lovers of Naija. We all are familiar with how great things can be achieved when we work together or when we stand together.

“Soon I will be joining my courageous youths to take our peaceful rally to the next level”.
