Elon Musk-led Tesla unveils Robovan, Robotaxi and Optimus humanoid

At Tesla’s highly anticipated Cybercab event, Elon Musk once again captured the world’s attention, revealing groundbreaking innovations: the Tesla Robovan, Robotaxi and the Optimus humanoid robot.

Displaying futuristic and tech advancement, Musk’s vision of a robotic future became more tangible than ever with his latest designs.

The highlight of the night was a moment when a group of Optimus robots walked out alongside the new Tesla Robovan, giving the audience a striking image of the future Musk imagines—a world where humanoid robots perform everyday tasks alongside electric, self-driving vehicles.

The Rise of Optimus: A Robot for Daily Life

In an accompanying video, the Optimus robot was shown doing simple, yet important, tasks that could one day make it a staple in households.

From retrieving packages off the porch to watering plants, the robot showcased its ability to handle chores with ease.

Musk joked during the event, “The Optimus will walk amongst you,” teasing the idea of these robots becoming as common as household appliances. He even added with characteristic humour, “You’ll be able to walk right up to them, and they will serve drinks.”
