European tourist praises warm reception after solo trip to Nigeria

A European traveler has shared his positive experience after spending a week exploring Nigeria alone, despite being warned to be extremely cautious before his visit.

In a video circulating online, the tourist said he had been traveling solo throughout his stay and described the experience as filled with “great vibes.”

According to him, locals were warm, welcoming, and frequently greeted him with kind words.

He added that contrary to the concerns shared with him before arriving, he felt comfortable during his trip and believes more people should consider visiting Nigeria.

The traveler also expressed his intention to return, stating that it would not be his last time in the country.

“Before I came to Nigeria, everyone told me to be extremely careful, but I’ve been exploring completely solo over the past week, I’ve been absolutely alone and it’s been great vibes. People have been warm and welcoming. People have been telling me welcome. I think more people ought to come and visit Nigeria. This won’t be my last time here. I’ll be back 100 percent,” he said.
