“Every country we go to the president invites us for dinner” – Davido brags

Music sensation Davido speaks on how his celebrity status grants him exclusive privileges globally and how he gets invited to presidential dinners.

In a recent interview with Kiss Fresh London, the Afrobeats superstar stated that he receives invitations to presidential dinners in virtually every country he visits, with the exceptions of the United States and the United Kingdom.

Davido claimed that his vast and influential fanbase encompasses high-profile individuals, including the President of the World Bank, presidents of influential nations, and other prominent figures.

“Every country we go to, the President invites us for dinner except London [United Kingdom] and the United States of America.

“It’s beautiful to see. I mean, leaving my country, Nigeria, and people welcoming me like the president in other countries, shows how well Nigeria is doing around the world in terms of music and cultural impacts”
