Ex-girlfriend begs for second chance after dumping man over ‘small’ ₦200k gift, refusal to do yahoo

A Nigerian man who landed in the hospital after his girlfriend broke up with him for giving her just ₦200k out of his ₦450k and refusing to do yahoo has shared screenshots of her begging him to take her back.

In a post on his X page (formerly Twitter), the man revealed that his girlfriend ended their relationship after he gave her ₦200k out of his ₦450k and refused to engage in internet fraud (yahoo).

Earlier, he had shared messages in which she encouraged him to do yahoo, but he declined.

In a follow-up chat, he questioned why she reacted so harshly to his refusal, but she focused on the money, calling it unfair that he didn’t give her more.

After expressing her frustration, she blocked him, and the heartbreak led to his hospitalization.

However, as the post gained traction, many found his story hard to believe. To prove its authenticity, he shared a new chat showing the same ex-girlfriend, Abike, apologizing and professing her love for him.

“For those of you asking to see her, this is Abike, my ex. Guess who texted after the tweet blew up? Thanks to everyone for the love so far,” he wrote.

As the post spread online, social media users flooded the comment section to share their thoughts.
