Former Nigerian national team coach Austin Eguavoen has joined a Slovenian club, NK Drava Dakinda as the new technical director.
The 53-year-old ex-Super Eagles captain was coaching Zakynthos football club of Greece before his new appointment. According to veteran Nigerian journalist, Emeka Nwani breaks the news via his Twitter handle as NK Drava Dakinda named Eguavoen as the club new technical director.
NK Drava Dakinda which is a second division club has three Nigerian players playing for them and they are Temitope Nelson, Mathias Fanimo and Simon Abutu Oduh. Eguavoen has managed Sliema Wanderers, Bendel Insurance, Nigeria U20, Super Eagles, Black Leopards, Enyimba, Nigeria U23, Sharks F.C., COD United, Gombe United and Sunshine Stars.
