Fani-Kayode’s Fiancee Storms Out Of Court As Judge Fails To Appear (See Photos)

Former minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode’s fiancée, Precious Chikwendu, angrily stormed out of court today as the judge failed to appear again.

Fani-Kayode, who was the spokesman of the former president Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign during 2015 election, is facing charges of fraud and money laundering at a federal high court in Ikoyi, Lagos.

He was to be arraigned last Friday, but the case was postponed till Tuesday owing to the judge’s absence.

Mr Fani-Kayode pacified Chikwendu, but she stormed out of the court premises as EFCC took her husband back in custody.

No reason was given for the judge’s absence.

An Ikeja magistrate court in Lagos had ruled that Fani-Kayode could remain in EFCC custody for three weeks after his arrest on May 9.

Today is the 42nd day he has been detained.
