The fuss about make up, manicures and hair styling, was never really encrypted in my genes and as a matter of fact, I considered them a little too much and very stressful, till I got converted.

Now, even though I still reserve a little lackadaisical attitude every now and then with some of my beauty regimen, the one thing I do not joke with is my manicure.

I love the excitement that builds up when I know I am getting new nails done, and with the many nail shapes I have saved in my gallery, there is always something new to try on.

On that note, I decided to take a break from my usual ballerina nails and go for something well rounded and less out of my comfort zone, and I loved it.

The part I dreaded was picking the right colour, and as I perused the nail polish cabinet, my eyes fell on this dark red polish and I was sold!
