Fashion!! Diary Of An Isale Eko Girl – Pixie Cut X Shorts

Apparently I’m very predictable with my hair and thanks to Zainab who literally made a fuss and sent me images of all sorts of short hair that she said would suite me and my facial features that I’ve hiding, I decided to leave my comfort zone and take on a new challenge (which it was for me a challenge) and try this pixie cut.

To be honest I think it’s because of Zainab I changed my look and not the ‘leaving my comfort zone’, lie I kept telling myself because if I hadn’t, she wouldn’t have let me rest. In the end I’m so glad she made me try it.

I am totally loving the look and it’s just the perfect style for the crazy heat wave we are experiencing in Lagos at the moment.

I know this post is meant to be all about my style and you might be wondering why I’m going on about my hair, well my hair makes up my style (hair gives you LIFE as all my ladies would agree) and this is one style I’m loving. When I picked this outfit to do a post on I hadn’t even decided on changing my hair but I love the total look.

I totally love this set, although cause it’s linen it might tend to cling to your skin and make you sweat, but at the same time they are both light. The first time I saw I saw it online I knew I had to put it in my cart and buy it, bought a small size for the jacket but it ran big ( so for anyone looking to buy just know to buy a size smaller) I had to get it amended but it fits perfectly now. Love the detailing on the jacket from the military style to the oversized pockets.

I decided to complete the look with color pop shoes to make it a bit dramatic. This is definitely my look for a night out with my girls soon.

So are we feeling this new look? Or I should go back to my comfort zone? Lol. Let me know.
