Former Ekiti state Governor, Ayodele Fayose, earlier today visited the state house of assembly, after he was summoned over alleged misappropriation of local government funds while in office.

Though there was drama in the House after he was asked by lawmakers to return back home, and come on a later date.

Speaking on the turn of events on his verified Twitter handle, Fayose said, “I just left the Ekiti House of Assembly where I met with the Speaker and some Principal Officers. I’m a clear conscience, I fear no accusation.”

The Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly also went on to state that the former Governor of the State, Mr Ayo Fayose’s ambush to the House of Assembly complex was resisted because he came unannounced.
