Multiple reports have it that there is palable fear in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state, after an Army Captain identified as Junaid Mohammed Yelwa but popularly known as JBOY, was killed.

It was learnt that the soldier was killed in the early hours of today after an attack by some unidentified gunmen in the capital city. The army captain’s corpse has been recovered by the army which has launched an investigation into his death.

Friends and colleagues of the deceased have taken to Facebook to mourn his death.

Nura Usman wrote;

Innalillahi wa’inna’ilaihi raji’un. Our brother Capt. Junaid Mohammed Yelwa (JBOY) is dead, he died in the early hours of today after an attack by some bad elements in PortHarcourt.

May his soul rest in peace, may Aljannatul firdausi be his and our parents final abode. Amiin
