58 years ago today Gen. Aguiyi-Ironsi the Supreme Commander of the Nigerian Armed Forces, Col. Francis Fajuyi, the military Governor of the old Western Region and 300 Igbo army officers were murdered in the northern officers revenge coup of July 29th 1966.

May their souls RIP.

President Muhammadu Buhari was one of the northern officers that organised and effected that coup. Now that he is President will he apologise for those killings and the role that he played that terrible night?
