The ex-minister, who is on the presidential campaign train of Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, deleted the tweet but left the concluding part of it.

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation has deleted a tweet where he criticized the attempt made on a woman’s life in Bauchi after she was accused of blasphemy against Prophet Muhammad.
The incident comes days after Deborah Samuel, a student, was killed in Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto for same reason.
On May 20, a mob went in search of a 40-year-old employee of the medical department of Warji Local Government Area of Bauchi. She was accused of blasphemy.
According to the police, six houses and seven shops were destroyed in Warji over the incident.
Mr Fani-Kayode said in a tweet on Monday that he was not “surprised” at the attempt made on the woman’s life.
He also criticised the commissioner for education in Bauchi, Aliyu Tilde, who expressed support for the violent attack that led to Ms Samuel’s death.
The ex-minister, who is on the presidential campaign train of Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, deleted the tweet but left the concluding part of it.
“Those that encourage, incite or defend cold-blooded murder are as guilty as those that commit it,” he said.

A similar incident occurred recently when presidential aspirant and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar deleted a tweet condemning the killing of Samuel.
Atiku said the post was taken down because it did not have his approval.
