Forgotten Super Eagles midfielder Uche Agbo has joined Portuguese outfit, Sporting Braga on a one-year deal from Belgian club, Standard Liege.

The 23-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Spanish side, Rayo Vallecano, but they were relegated to the Segunda B at the end of the campaign from La Liga. Sporting Braga confirmed the deal for Agbo on their social media as he reunites with the former manager at Standard Liege, Ricardo Sa Pinto at the club.

Agbo was close to a permanent transfer to another Belgian club, KAA Gent last month but the move fell through at the last minute but the versatile star has been capped by Nigeria at U20 level and has also been part of the Super Eagles squad until recently.
