Former Chelsea Star Reacts After Thiago Silva Completes His Move To Stamford Bridge

Former Chelsea star John Terry has reacted after Thiago Silva completes his move to Stamford Bridge on Friday.

The 35-year-old Brazil defender joins the Blues on a one-year deal, with the option of extending his stay at Stamford Bridge for another season.

Silva leaves PSG earlier this week, after their UEFA Champions League 1-0 final defeat to Bayern Munich in Portugal.

The Brazilan international will bolster a Chelsea defence which conceded the most goals (54) in the Premier League last season.

However, Terry is delighted with the arrival of former AC Milan center-back by saying.

“What a signing this is,’ the former Chelsea captain said after the Blues confirming the deal on Friday afternoon.

Thiago becomes Chelsea’s fifth signing following the arrivals of Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell, Malang Sarr and Xavier Mbuyamba.
