Chelsea manager Frank Lampard weighs up options to sign a 30-year old attacker for €20m at the expense of RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner and Lyon Moussa Dembele.

Chelsea is considering the services of Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and they are monitoring the situation closely, according to report in the Telegraph.

Aubameyang is Premier League proven striker and he is the most experienced out of the options available to Chelsea at the moment.

Though Werner and Dembele are good, young and talented the experience of the Gabon international is way off ahead of the German and the French striker.

Aubameyang is guaranteed to score week in week out, something Werner and Dembele cannot boast of.

The former Borussia Dortmund star presents the best all-round option for Chelsea right now.
Arsenal may not be willing to sell him to Chelsea though. But saying that, they have a history of doing deals together recently with Olivier Giroud going to Chelsea a couple of seasons ago, and David Luiz going to Arsenal last summer.
