FUOYE lecturer goes viral after walking on student making TikTok video

A female student shares an unexpected encounter with a lecturer at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), leaving social media users amused.

In a now-viral TikTok video, the student identified as @just_aliza01 was recording herself dancing along a staircase in a campus building when she noticed a lecturer approaching.

Out of respect, she quickly paused to let him pass. However, just as the lecturer was about to exit the scene, he unexpectedly looked into the camera, stroked his eyebrow, and joined in on the vibe—switching from a serious demeanor to a playful one.

Reacting to the lecturer’s unexpected response, the student humorously referenced a recent viral controversy at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), where a female student was expelled after recording a video featuring a lecturer.

“POV: I almost got ‘Uniziked,’ but it was Dr Steeze,” she captioned the video.

Social media users have praised Dr Steeze’s approach to teaching, with many calling for more lecturers who foster a fun and relatable learning environment.

A social media user, Tonia_ify reacted, “Everything that happened in this video, apart from that girl tha looked like weapon formed against you, is just so so mature, 100% maturity, STEEZE, composure, this os how life is supposed to be.”
