Galatasaray loan out Flying Eagles center-back Valentine Ozornwafor to Spanish second division (La Liga 2) side, UD Almeria for one-season.
The 20-year-old moves to Turkish Super Lig Champions from Enyimba of Aba in the summer transfer window on a four year deal with the highly-rated central defender have now been loaned out to continue his development as he is not guaranteed of playtime at his parent club in the new season. Almeria makes the announcement on their official website as Ozornwafor becomes the seventh signing for the red and white entity has reached an agreement with the footballer himself and his club of origin, the Turkish club Galatasaray, which has yielded it with a purchase option.
Ozornwafor started five matches for the Flying Eagles at the 2019 U20 AFCON and earned two more caps for Paul Aigbogun’s team at the World Cup in Poland. He was one of the players included on the standby list when manager Gernot Rohr announced his roster for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
