Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Edouard Mendy is attracting interest from German champions Bayern Munich ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Africa Cup of Nations winner has been on the radar of Bayern Munich with Executive Board member Oliver Kahn interested in recruiting the shot stopper.

Mendy is Chelsea’s first choice goalkeeper but has struggled in recent games and has been blamed for the Blues UEFA Champions League quarter-final exit. Bayern Munich are heavily reliant on Manuel Neuer but the German goalkeeper looks to have past his good days and is entering the twilight of his career.

The German giants are hoping to scoop the Senegalese as a way to bring competition in the goalkeeping department of the club.
