Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets have been drawn in Group A of the WAFU ZONE B U-17 tournament along with hosts Ghana and Togo, reports Completesports.

Ivory Coast, Benin, Burkina Faso and Niger Republic will compete in Group B.

Former defender Nduka Ugbade was appointed Golden Eaglets head coach by the Nigeria Football Federation on Thursday.

Cape Coast, Ghana will host the competition from June 11 to June 24, 2022.

The two finalists of this competition will advance to the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted by Algeria in 2023.

Group A: Ghana, Nigeria, Togo.

Group B: Ivory Coast, Benin, Burkina Faso, Niger.
