Gov Samuel Ortom of Benue state has reacted to the death of Sani Dangote, the younger brother of Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Nathaniel Ikyur, the governor lamented that the death of the businessman is a big loss not just to the family but the entire nation.
Sani was until his death in the United States of America on Sunday, the Vice President of the Dangote Group.
According to the statement, Governor Ortom joined the family, friends and associates of Dangote in mourning their son.
The governor noted that the deceased had over the years, shown great leadership attributes and is a stabiliser in the many successes the family recorded in the business space because of his dedication.
He prayed to the Almighty God to grant him eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
