Governor Fubara visits President Tinubu in Aso Rock villa

President Bola Tinubu is currently in a closed-door meeting with Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting comes days after Fubara resumed office on September 19 following President Tinubu’s reversal of a state of emergency earlier imposed on Rivers State.

Recall that on March 18, 2025, the President imposed a State of Emergency on the oil-rich state following the protracted clash between the governor and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.
