The development was confirmed to newsmen in a statement dated Wednesday, November 10 and issued by the Secretary to the Edo State Government, Osarodion Ogie.

Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has announced fresh appointments. 

The governor has announced the appointment of seventy-two Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs). 

The development was confirmed to newsmen in a statement dated Wednesday, November 10 and issued by the Secretary to the Edo State Government, Osarodion Ogie. 

The statement also confirmed the appointment of Princess Mrs. Philomena Ihenyen as Political Adviser (Edo Central) as well as Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) in the senatorial district. 

The appointees emerged after party leaders across all the 51 wards in the five Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Edo Central Senatorial District had made headway in the interest of the umbrella party. 

The names of the appointees across the 51 wards in the five LGAs were listed to include 21 SSAs and 51 SAs. 

In Esan West LGA, the SSAs include Charles Azekhuoria Ojo, Okoduwa Jennifer, Emmanuel Ekienabor and Osin Christopher Ikekekuamen, while the SAs in the LGA are Godstime Omozokpa Anenih, Orirewo Moses, Edoamen Lucky and Momoh Jesuzele. 

Other SAs in the LGA include Victor, Ogumenlen Mercy Itohan, Lucky Ebako Akhilomen, Aigberadion Stanley Irabor, Omoigberale Lucky Ehimen, Agunu Solomon and Irabor Austine Akhabue. 

The newly appointed SSAs in Edo Central LGA are Clement Okoh, Sandra Igene, Ehizogie Shaka Momodu and Judith Uwoye, while the SAs include Gideon Ijieh, Veronica Ibharaghotu, Sandra Obeto, Michael Akhere, Mathias Aikore, Ogbole Eromosele, Ezomon Jeremiah, Ebesemegbe O. Elijah, Kenneth Osemenkhian and Iria Unity Oriabure. 

In Esan North East LGA, the SSAs are Goodey Ogun, Kelvin Idogei, Kenneth Ebosele, Esther Omonua and Akin Annenih while the SAs include Helen Okosun, Gladys Omoaka, Asiazabor Jude, Eineh Hope Osaro, Okojie Edehumhen Lucas, Okhielegbe Steve, Darlington Obamen, Innocent Okukpon, Elenbalulu Cletus, Friday Iyayi and Stanley Oamhen. 

Those appointed as SSAs in Igueben LGA include Eric Ohonsi, Priscilia Egbele, Ikhile Alfred and Itamah Daniel Akomu while the SAs include Inegbeneze Happy, Imuse Akhimen, Blessing Ogbeifun, Emmanuel Akowe, Aisabor Violet Enibhibamu, Okonyon Faith, Egbobawaye Anthony, Ernest Ujiogba, Winifred Okonoboh and Iwebor Omonbude. 

While in Esan South East LGA, the newly appointed SSAs include Anehita Akhete Ugbesia, Goddat Akonie, Innocent Egbe Imanzoboa and Godwin Ekhe Omohyebagba, while the SAs are Lorinda Ehimingbe, Ukpebor Polycarp, Collins Alola, Wilson Emubor, Henry Oboh, Paulina Atigie, Akhahome Ofonghor, Henry Abada, Ahmed Ubitogale Marvelous and Oaikhena Moses.
